Ans 1} India was under British rule for almost one and half century.
2} India got its independence in the year 1947.
3} Despite of facing many problems like three wars, famine situations in various parts and similar issues after independence, India is major developing country of the world.
4} India is considered to be global market too.
5} Because of various economic reforms from time - to - time, India's economic development has been paced up.

Q2 What problems did Brazil face after Independence ?

Ans 1} For more than three centuries, Brazil was under Portuguese rule.
2} Brazil gained it's Independence in 1822.
3} From 1930 to 1985, for more than half century, it was under populist military government.
4} It has overcome financial difficulties in the late 20th century.
5} Brazil is seen as a contributor to economic growth of the world and important market in future.

Q3 How are Brazil and India different from each other in terms of location ? 

Ans 1} India is located in the northern and eastern hemispheres of the earth.
2} It is located in the southern part of the Asian continent.
3} Some part of Brazil lies in northern hemisphere while most of it lies in the southern hemisphere.
4} Also, it lies in the western hemisphere in the northern part of the south american continent.

Q4  Why is India is looked upon as a young country.

Ans 1} The proportion of youth in India's population is high.
2} Because this forms a major part of a working population, India is looked upon as a young country.
